On April 6, 2026, Braylon was recommended to the City Council of Springfield, Missouri for reappointment to the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Community Development (CACCD), and his reappointment was confirmed by City Council on May 4, 2026. (His term will end on May 1, 2029.)
Proceeding his reappointment, during the CACCD’s annual election of Chair and Co-Chair on May 26, 2026, Braylon was nominated by Dr. Earle Doman as chair. Braylon was unanimously voted in, during a voice vote, as chair of the CACCD.
(Dr. Zipporah Burns was nominated and elected as Co-Chair.)
Braylon will serve as chair of the CACCD for a one-year term, with the possibility of being re-elected as chair during the next annual election of Chair and Co-Chair.
